“Glutton for Punishment” on Food TV tonight

The premise of the show is pretty straightforward. Blumer travels around the world testing his eating, cooking and overall food skills. He enters a chile-eating contest, takes on some of the world’s fastest oyster shuckers and tries his hand at being a breakfast line cook.
Tonight’s episode will feature a hot chile eating contest in New Mexico.

Pretty good show. His actual speed eating skills leave a little to be desired, but there is some interesting tips/techniques he tried on how to deal with the heat right before the contest started. They apparently worked because he got 2nd place in the contest he did and there looked to be a good number of people entered, most probably more used to downing chili peppers than him.
