Guinness record for Tabasco sauce drinking broken

(From SoGoodBlog) ArgusLeader.com reports that Levi Johnson drank 5.5 ounces of Tabasco sauce in 30 seconds in Tea, South Dakota, exceeding a record in the Guinnes Book of World Records. The existing record was 5.07 ounces in 30 seconds.

    these Guinness Records are so off base. If that was the record, I used to break it in Bar bets all the time in college. It would be so easy to drink this stuff full tilt for 30 seconds. Imagine what Erik, Pat. Sonya or Rich could do with a full minute or more.

    in 2oo2 i sent portfolios to every hot sauce co including tabacso every dairy and butter manufacture, nearly every food pervision co. and told them of my titles and what ce is all about , one by one they steal your ideas and ignore you . this I concider my interlectual property,and it was trampled on by them. the portfolios were 25 pages with photos and newspaper articles and was returned receipt requested .

    I saw this record attempted on a TV show once. It’s harder than it sounds because you have to suck it out of that little bottle with the little hole at the top. It is truly a technique food.

    Why, I just to drink 22 ounces for breakfast, walk 17 miles in the snow to get to school, use the snow to cool off my lower parts, drink a thermos of the stuff for lunch, break wind painfully for 17 hours straight – also a Guiness record, go out, drink some Guiness, and drink a nightcap of 23 ounces mixed with cough medicine to help me sleep

    I think it is because Guiness doesn’t track eating records anymore. This record might be along the same lines as that. From the article, it seems that there wasn’t a Guiness rep there, so it really doesn’t mean anything.

    I am curious now, what was the end result of Erik’s jalapeno demonstrations? Did Guiness play a roll in those? Did they give any of the official records to him?

    Some of those records are silly. Most custard pies thrown in a minute?

    I think you have to use the bottle with the governor in it. You get one tiny splash at a time.

    anoyomous 812 this has nothing to do with waking up Bertoleti, you fail to see the jist of of I;m saying , I contacted these outfits in 2001 and 2002 and wrote and told them what CE is all about , and I get no credit whatsoever thats what I mean by intelectual property..don lerman

    Maybe I should go out for that record. I’ve drunk more than that in half the time on the Larry Hoff show.
