I’m very pleasantly surprised that Sonya will be there. That will make three contests in as many days. This contest is right up her alley. She has world class speed in getting the food from table to mouth. Speed of swallow won’t be a limiting factor here, nor will stomach capacity, at least for Sonya.
You can bet the ranch that Sonya will finish in the top two.
Any of four people can win it: Joey, Pat, Bob, OR Sonya, but I can’t predict which one. It will be a tight race.

That’s a tough, tough field Tim, but you’re improving. Good luck!

This is a great field. Now I know Bob and Joey use hands, does anyone have any recommendations regarding using a fork, spoon, ladle, chop sticks, or any other scooping utensil for an event such as this. Could they provide any advantage to a smaller in hand-size Sonya? Or, should Sonya stick with the hands.

If I remember correctly, Skyline 3-Way Chili is 6oz Spaghetti, 7oz Chili, and 3oz Shredded Cheddar.Hands are probably the best way to go. That’s what I plan on using, not that’ll matter with that field. I’m just in it for the free admission though 😉
A spoon with help with something like jambalaya, but with spaghetti you just need to shove it in and swallow.

That “chili sauce” has a very unique flavor to it.
The hints of cinnamon over compensate for any other flavor in the sauce.
And the amount of shredded cheddar is crazy.
But the combo of everything together is good.
I’ve taken down 3 3ways in one sitting.

Hall Hunt should be here too. Instead of going where there is competition he will lay down and with a walk in the park and take another win in Jacksonville. The gods must love Hall Hunt for giving him another easy win. I heard he has no competition in Jacksonville. Just a new comer that might get 30 and an old timer that might make 20. Other than that there are only some local yokels only out for a free lunch and a free shirt.
Hall will win with 45 – 50. No need to show his hand in Jacksonville. He could step off the stage, take a 3 minute coffee break, shake hands with his family and friends, then step back up, finish the contest and still eat more than anyone else that day.
Talk about a soft ball.

God surely loves Hall Hunt. Hall’s a great guy! Sometimes I jeer him a bit, but he is one of the finest. most decent peple on the circuit, not to mention an excellent eater.
I think Hall will get 55-57 points. Krystals are by far his best food, but he won’t benefit as much as Sonya on the switch to nondunking.

When it comes to Hall at Jacksonville, I don’t think he will lay down just to get a win. He’s a great guy, and very loyal to the Krystal folks. Remember, this contest series is where he made his name by beating Sonya. And, the Krystal folks treat him and all the eaters like gold. So IMHO I’m sure Hall’s going into this shooting to at least beat Sonya’s 64 points. Remember, this may be like a preseason football game, but even in football all players say that once you get out on the field, and the adrenelin starts pumpin — you never know? Hall will always perform.
