    I really enjoy weekends when multiple contests take place. I won’t post over the holiday weekend, so here are my predictions:

    Saturday’s Funnel Cake, Kings Dominion:
    1. Pat Bertoletti in a close race. Considering all foods, Bertoletti is the best eater in the world today!
    2. Joey Chestnut
    3. Either Humble Bob or Sonya (No track record for Sonya in this food.)

    Saturday’s Nathan’s Qualifier in AC
    1. Juliet: She could go through 30 or 31 — Good luck to her.
    2. Pat from Moonachie
    3. Allen Goldstein

    Monday’s Clams, Island Park, NY
    1. Sonya in a rout. She’s in a class by herself in oysters, and clams too, I strongly suspect, given her demon speed with a fork. (I wish Dale Boone and Gentleman Joe could participate in this.)
    2. Tim: Fifty HDBs is outstanding! … But it doesn’t translate into a win over Sonya in clams. Her hand speed with a fork is world class.
    3. Booker or Legs, should Eric not attend.
