Is this Stonie kid mentally challenged? First he goes to the Derby Dog contest and publicizes it all over Twitter and FB giving them free advertising. Next, he publicizes the lobster roll eating contest and does an interview for it. I can’t imagine it was OK’d by MLE. It won’t be long before he starts pulling Stephanie Torres stunts. I don’t know about that california eating clique????

Cmon Matt i hate to say it but none of the calif crew can be trusted. Matt also rubbed elbows with the eaters at the hot dog contest in CA

The california eating clique is as legit as it gets. All about eating, not about political bs.

Ummm let me just say. I signed a contract commiting to certian obligations as a Competitive Eater “Eater”. I never signed anything dictating my life as a human being. I went down to the Hot Dog thing to meet PEOPLE. TBH I didn’t even go so much to see Kobayahsi as i wanted to finally meet up with Pete, because over the year I’ve become decently good friends with him. As far the the seacoast article goes, im sorry my family friend writes for the paper and I’m sorry I like to do a minisucle thing to help out a family friend. If anything, the article lists me as a ranked MLE eater and mentions my IFOCE contest (which I told him would be for him to do) and because I was so locally popular, probably brought light of the MLE to many local people who didnt know otherwise.

I’m just doing what I’m doing, and not going to fret over tiny little stuff just because it has a little bit to do with my Competitive Eating status. I didn’t go out and promote the contest, i didnt go and compete, i didnt go and undermine the MLE/IFOCE. I went down to SoCal to see a friend, and I made some comments regarding last years contest so my family friend could have something to write for the article. Thats it.

Don’t be jealous because the kid gets exposure and you don’t.

More comps and press for all comps just make the whole scene bigger, including MLE. That’s a good thing for everyone.

    Nice explanation stonie.
Youre one of the few people that will actually benefit from mle.
Youre not doing anything wrong and theyd be stupid to let you go over done dumb shit.
If anything, youre always welcome back to the indy world, as long as you stay in cali, lol

Stonie is clearly not breaking any rules or MLE regulations. As long as he doesn’t EAT or promote another eating league, then it’s all Good.People just feel like they have to start negative BS. Stephanie,on the other hand, did break the MLE rules.

Matt, One more thing, you are MLE and the image you keep is very important.Be very carefull about where you go, what pictures you take and stories they write outside MLE…

Hey Stonie, if MLE has any issues w/things ur doing, they will let u know & will be between u & them. As far as the hate comments go, ur best bet is to ignore them! Ur a gr8 guy w/an amazing ability! Just hv fun 🙂

Joey and bertoletti made an appearance at Wingbowl and I dont think they were told “you can’t be friends with them or attend”

I think basically as long as Stonie doesn’t “profit” from his appearances. He has nothing to worry about

5:07 Really??? Would Walmart condone a well known representitive/employee (which Stonie is now for mle) to promote Kmart? Ya think Subway would still have Jared around if he was showing up for a little QnA at a Micky D’s grand opening. Does Joey go around to non MLE events? Be careful Stoner.

Hello! I know this is kind of off topic but I
was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website?
I’m getting tired of WordPress because I’ve had
problems with hackers and I’m looking at options for another platform.
I would be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of
    a good platform.
