The Hartford Courant has an interview with Jamie "Bear" McDonald, who used the prize money from winning the 2013 Wing Bowl to start his barbecue business, which now consists of 6 restaurants. His first experience with competitive eating was the Broken Yolk Iron Man challenge in San Diego.
