(from Reuters) Heinz announced that it will not announce the results of its voting at its annual meeting today or tomorrow. Nelson Peltz, who wants Heinz to cosponsor Nathan’s hot dog eating contest, is attempting to install 5 new board members. Heinz provided no date when it expected to announce the results.

On the table during the 2000, 2001 and 2002 Nathan’s Canadian Hot Dog Eating Championship and the 2002 and 2003 weekly qualifers were unlabelled red and yellow plastic squeeze bottles representing ketchup and mustard. French’s Mustard sponsored the 2003 Championship. The only condiments were French’s Mustard squeeze bottles in a variety of flavors. No ketchup to be seen. French’s Mustard Man was taking every opportunity to be included in photographs and television coverage. French’s had a camera man. I might upload to youtube the 2003 Championship television coverage where French’s Mustard Man is hogging the camera.
