    This is democracy and the beauty of the web used in a good way. The restaurants get their own self-generated publicity riding on the current popularity of eating challenges, another way for people to promote their product. It isn’t us versus them as some people try to pit one organization against another. Everyone can have a different piece of a related pie. I like that there are so many layers to competitive eating now.
