Ian Hickman wins Whoopie Pie contest
Thanks Brian Seiken. Wing Tut has a blog entry about the Whoopie Pie Contest The top 3 finishers in that contest:
Ian “The Invader” Hickman – 36
“Gooey” Sean Gordon – 22
Local Contestant – 18
Updated Wing Tut did not compete in that contest, but received results relayed by Ian Hickman, who is expected to attend the Denny’s Beer Barrel Pub UEPA gathering on Nov 4.

I didn’t compete, or even attend for that matter.
Seiken probably read my blog, assumed I competed, and posted it to you like he hsd some inside info.
Sorry BB, but you didn’t break any news on this one.
I spoke to Hickman after the contest ended, and posted everything this morning.

Boy King i never said you competed or attended . All i did was copy and paste the blog and sent it to OJ. I could care less about breaking a story or getting inside info especially one that features an aice member. FYI i didnt ask OJ to give me credit for it . He took it upon himself to credit me for it. If you dont believe me ask him to fwd you the email i sent . Trust me its the first and last time i would even give that contest a thought.

Congratulations Ian! Great job! Also, how did Sean Gordon get the nickname, “Gooey?” (Or maybe I don’t want to know …)

I was there competing, but left after Ian ate 36. I was the first local guy in the 2nd heat who ate 17. Was there some one else who ate 18 later. I was just curious how well I did overall.

Sorry about that Brian F. I wasn’t sure about the last name but knew you had eaten the most outside of Sean and myself. I thought you had 18 but forgot they deducted that last one because you couldn’t have your cheeks stuffed at times’ end. Like I said, it was the lucky bench seat. In regards to ‘Anonymous,’ the lady I spoke with asked if I ate in the IFOCE when I asked what she meant by amateur. I told her no, and she told me I was signed up then. Whatever. I got to compete and that’s all that mattered to me. Great people and a fun contest to boot.

Let’s see…. anonymous, she said, bubba.
I’d bet none of the three can beat Ian Hickman, no matter the food type.
Hell, I’d bet none of the three can beat me.

Come on, Philly Guy, there aren’t too many “off the street” people posting about the validity of AICE as an organization or busting someones balls, joking that the contest was a bunch of amateurs. The posts were most likely from eaters who don’t have a set of rocks big enough to put their name out there. If they thought they were better than Hickman, or myself, they’d put their name on their post.
