(From Nic comment) The March / April contests (with the exception of a Myrtle Beach event) mentioned in a previous IFOCE.com post are now on the IFOCE calendar.

  • 03/16/2009 New York City The Stroehmann Sandwich Slamm Corned Beef on Rye Eating Contest
  • 04/11/2009 Santa Clara, CA The California’s Great America Funnel Cake Eating Championship
  • 04/18/2009 New Orleans Acme World Oyster Eating Championship
  • 04/25/2009 Stockton, CA The World Deep-Fried Asparagus Eating Championship
  • 04/26/2009 West Palm Beach, FL The National Sweet Corn Eating Championship

Prizes have yet to be determined for all contests.

    The corned beef sandwich contest indicates only 10 eaters will be allowed to enter. I predict the same roster as the Famous Famiglia Pizza contest, without Adam Gertler
