Just curious after the competition is over is it allowed to puke out food? I keep reading about keeping it down. Is this a rule because I always thought all puke it up

You are allowed to reverse once you are away from the stage area. Here is a column about it.

Depends on the contest but there is often a time limit of 5-10 minutes after the contest when eaters must keep the food down and cannot reverse or they risk disqualification.

@1:21 I am not wrong, you are wrong. I clearly said that it varies by contest and there are many documented examples of this:
10 min rule example https://m.facebook.com/story.php?id=100021562459384&story_fbid=299021527442411
2 min rule example https://brantfordribfest.com/rib-eating-contest/
Next time do a Google search for yourself before posting something stupid and incorrect.

I think 1:21 was referring to you are wrong about this for MLE contests. I don’t think Emily explicitly states in their contest rules that “the food must be kept down for a certain number of minutes after the contest”. As long as you keep it down during the contest and swallow everything in your mouth afterwards, you technically could still throw up afterwards and not be disqualified after time is over. It would probably be based on the judges/emcee’s discretion at the contest, though.
