Jamie "The Bear" McDonald has started a website at http://www.jamiethebearmcdonald.com/. He will attempt to qualify for Wing Bowl 21 tomorrow morning by eating 60 Krispy Kreme donuts in under 10 minutes. update Dec 10 Jamie finished his stunt in 8:58 to qualify.

    Congratulations to Jamie! That’s not an easy stunt. I applaud him just for taking the risk in attampting a stunt (at which I suspect)only a handful of Wing Bowl participants could succeed.

    Having said that, though I think Jamie is the best eater going in, besides Koby, you never know how you’re going to finish in WB. That’s the thing. I have little confidence that the best eater actually wins (save last year). It’s like you relinquish control to the judges as soon as competition begins.

    1:18 Your right about the judging… just like MLE judging that allows-condones-participates in blatant fraud so does WB,, all forms of sports have crooked players,, follow the money… Wingbowl is a over the top circus so expecting reality in the judging is a bit farfetched thinking, whereas MLE putports to be the official or “real” truth keepers of CE… poppycock… As for the Bear,,, he is truly a freak… 60 Krispy’s unreal,, fantastic! Love this dude!!!

    Sometimes I don’t like Rhonda either, but I think it is possible to applaud multiple eaters for their accomplishments, even if it is at the same time. I think that is a good thing.

    I’ve eaten in 3 wings bowls and have been banned from the last 5. I’m certain you could out eat Squibb by mayhap double? Many can. But numbers really dont mean anything in the Wells Fargo Center. Try your best, but please enjoy yourself foremost. This is a spectacle and not a competition.
