Tim "Eater X" Janus announced that ESPN wanted him to provide commentary during the Nathan's telecast in 2017, but he was blocked from that role by someone he does not name.

    Must have been Seiken This guy has had enough free shit given to him over the course of the last 15yrs including an appearance on the millionaire show in which he won 100k I for one am damn glad he was blocked Many do not like him just sayin

    as soon as he got his foot in the door he tried to nominate himself as the floor general of the organization. It started with some sarcastic remarks to Larry Mcneill a former competitor in which he tried to apologize but Larry stood by his ground and wouldnt have it . Another incident US Male won crawfish contest in Atlantic City Janus objected . Something was fishy including the count according to him. He actually confronted US Male and asked him to split his winnings with other eaters who he claimed spent hard earned money to travel to atlantic city by car I am almost positive Seiken had something to do with blocking him doing commentary because during a chilli contest in DC Seiken offered to shake his hand but Janus replied “Whats the point?

    Seiken, I would have guessed MLE for sure. Or perhaps they did not want an eater to become a commentator. No matter what the issue, you always have ancient anecdotes, boring and not true. What’s the point of your commenting? To get your name over and over and over.

    unlike you you hating jealous asshole there are some that might like to hear old bedtime stories about how it was back in the day. You be quite shocked that a few new school eaters approached Seiken at Citifield and commended him on his videos and podcasts from back in the day .
