Funny, I recall he ate 31.5 at the Vegas qualifier. Already padding his #s…..

His total was 31.5. Jeff will also be disappointed to learn that the prize is not $30,000, as he stated in the interview.

Funny they deducted just enough from Jeff Butler so that Tom Gilbert would not win. So if Tom had eaten 33 the shady MC guy would have given Jeff Butler credit for 33.5. Look at how these clowns operate? wth!! I guarantee they will find a way so that Tom does not make it to the big dance, mark my words. Why did they let Tom compete?

Leave the guy alone . Hes the next Bo Jackson of the sport. I hope he turns pro in boxing and knocks your ass out

11:55 and 12:03: Give the guy a break! He’s entitled to some mistakes. He is already good enough to qualify for Coney, and the man just started! He could be eating the double deuce in a year or two.
12:27: I hardly think anyone is plotting against anyone else in any contest.
3:18: I sort of feel the same way. Some anonymous people really “grow big balls” on the Internet, yet the scrotum housing them shrivels like a dried prune when face-to-face with the person(s) they previously attacked in cyberspace.

On second thought, 3:18. I’d rather Jeff knock him out BEFORE he becomes pro. Performing that action AS a pro boxer would give him a worse rap, and could hurt his rep, professionally.

Agree Rhonda we have yet to witness one of the anonymous internet big balls confront someone face to face unless you want to single out Jo Rose who psychotic rants are either drug induced or hes just off his rocker

Rhonda- Jeff is a great eater and I’m sure he will no doubt reach high numbers in the future. That being said, saying you ate a certain amount of HDB when you really didn’t just to make yourself look good doesn’t fly in my book. So if I say i ate 40 HDB when in reality I ate 22, would you give me a break? I’m just saying, be honest with your performance and people will respect you. Jeff beat some really good eaters in his qualifier, he should be proud of his 31.5 HDB, but it seems he instead would rather pad his numbers….

Perhaps no one informed him of the rules. You must eat the same number of rolls and hot dogs. Maybe he did eat 34 HOT DOGS, but only 31.5 ROLLS. This happens quite often because most eaters separate the rolls and the dogs; people claim to have eaten a certain number, but then it turns out at the end that they were short on rolls. Or rolls end up in cups…

The MC should make a point of telling everyone the rules at each qualifier. There’s no complaining at the end then because people get deducted for leaving rolls behind.

The mc should also make a point of advising an eater to report the precise amt and not an approximate amt he ate to the media. Very very important

Hello
I actually did eat 34 hot dogs . At the end I took 2 buns and rolled them in a ball and managed to eat most of it a couple seconds after the time expired so I didnt get full credit. then got deducted for scraps on the table. I told the news anchor this and they didnt explain this in the story. As long as I won im not too particular about the statistics nor was I trying to pad stats . I loved the story and look foreward to future competitions against the best in the MLE . Thanks , Jeff ” The Beastman”

Jeff- my advise is to stick with official numbers announced by MLE to avoid being scrunized on here. Anyone can say they ate X amount of HDB but if they didn’t count, they didn’t count. Take Seiken for example, claims he ate 14 but only recieved credit for 11 after the mess he made. I don’t think anyone is doubting your ability to eat but let’s stick with the numbers that were announced.

Jeff my advice to you is avoid posting under your real name. The top eaters of MLE used to post under their real names when eatfeats first came on the scene, but eventually stopped when they realized the verbal bashing they got by exposing themselves to a bunch of anonymous morons .
