Great one more body builder with little discernable talent other than eating a lot in the dorm cafeteria. Here’s the scenario. He’ll get a couple more college freshman journalism majors to write about him and begin believing what they write. After that he’ll eat against top MLE eaters and get beat. Yet, his egomaniacal quest for attention will allow him and his jock sniffing buddies to forget his contests against the MLE ever happened. He’ll then eat independently and at local eating challenges and do well against truly untalented people. He’ll do a few of those contests and soon he and his yesmen school buddies will go around with indiotic claims that he’s a legend, the likes of Kobayashi, Chestnut, and Thomas. All these sad attention craving wannabes are just diminishing real top competitive eaters who have actual talent and mind blowing achievements. Mark my words. There’s a lot of colleges out there and a lot of these types of people who see a jobless future ahead and money to be made pretending they’re like Kobayashi, Chestnut and Thomas. Just ask Jamie McDonald, Stephanie Torres, Eric Dahl, Grace Lee, etc. They’re coming folks and any hope for legitimacy in competitive eating is going.

To help his bodybuilding, Yang follows a nutrition regimen that includes vitamin supplements — he even paused to pop a few pills mid-interview — and two to three cups of water at every meal.
