    The record for fruitcake was kind of put in stone when Sonya at nearly 5 lbs years ago. Even Kobayashi tried to break her record and failed. That may account for the subsequet rare attempts at the illusive fruitcake. It’s very dry and hard to clean the mouth and throat. So it will be interesting to see what happens but I don’t see any of these eaters at Sonya’s or Kobayashi’s level so I’d image the Black Widow’s record stand.
