Speaking of Joey, the great Jack Legath set out to arrogantly break Joey’s recent wing record. Per his typical arrogant self, he states that Joey got his wings in 40 minutes and his took 2 hrs in the comments. Jack ended up with another dose of humble pie and finished with 132. But hey, he’s going to beat Joey’s record. LMAO.

Agree. Jack shouldn’t have advertised his little event as “trying to break Joey’s record”. It’s just disrespectful to one of the GOAT’s of comp. eating. He would not have eaten 200 even if they were delivered to him in 40 minutes. BWW wings are heavy. I went earlier this year and did somewhere around 135 over the course of 75 mins (wasn’t trying to break any “record”, and was drinking a decent amount of water too). Weight-wise, 135 was pushing 9+ pounds of food. So 200 is approximately 13.3 lbs. Don’t think Jack is at that level yet…

@1106 – are you surprised he acted disrespectful? This is the same guy who scheduled a challenge 1 hour before Randy Santel was going to do it and drove 3 hours just to spite him.

Jack was also so honored to eat alongside Dan and Molly, yet he doesn’t follow them on social media, and quit during the contest. In actuality, he thought he stood a chance against them and that’s why he showed that day. Humble pie was served that day.

Jack’s mom is his number one fan besides himself. Does she know he has an eating disorder and throws up everything? Oh wait, Jack is different. We just need to check his strava for all the workouts he does daily to burn off the calories.

This dude is a legend in his own mind. But hey, he’s got over 700 Facebook followers. He’s well on his way to being the next Joey Chestnut. Humble pie was served again last night, but hey, his excuse was it took a long time to get the food. Does he not realize Joey could have ate way more than 200?
