Here’s something to consider. Is competitive eating really a living, or is it a dying. Think about it. Do you expect to see your competitive eating friends 20 years from now? Rich Le Fevre is the only exception I can think of.

The supposed physical long term “risks” of competitive eating are greatly exaggerated. The body is very resilient and any short term changes (stomach stretching, cholesterol levels) will return to normal not long after an eater’s retirement. You can’t even argue that weight gain is a risk because most eaters actually LOSE weight after they start eating competitively!
And besides, who comes on this site and says CE is deadly? $100 bucks says Anon 6:45 is an eater himself. The irony of that isn’t even worth mentioning.

By the way, totally disagree with #1 on that list. Anyone seen Stallone in “Over the Top”? Not retarded at all. And is it just me or do those two guys in that beer pong photo look like the biggest d-bags on earth?
