    Like this Crap Dog sham, I’m waiting for Kobi to announce a second rate wing eating event on the same day in July as the MLE Hooters final in New York, with second rate eaters, MLE rejects, and some crappy local wing company. The announcement should probably happen any day now. It’s really so pathetic how low Kobi has fallen that while he blames MLE for all his failures, Kobi can only come up with same-day faux MLE events. Particularly since, even though these shams are only designed to feed his fragile ego, he feels the need to feeblemindedly distract from Nathan’s, an American, New York, and Brooklyn institution on our nation’s birthday. I can’t believe local officials haven’t spoken with Rosario’s and these Crap Dog people and tell them to get a life, particularly since Kobi already has tried in the past to disrupt a Nathan’s by storming the stage, getting arrested, and other distractions. Fine hold a contest, just not on the Fourth of July you losers. And, Johnnie Excel, that’s just sad. Are you so desperate for attention that your proud and blogging about being Kobi’s patsy that he can trounce once again? Why don’t you just forego the eating contest and have Kobi spank you on stage — please sir, may have another?

    @Crap Dog

    Again, while I think Kobi should have found a different day to host this event, who cares what others do with their lives and who or where they choose to eat competitively? I also don’t like the term “MLE rejects”, just because you leave the orginizatopn, choose not to be part of it, get booted for doing an outside event to put a little cash in your pocket, or just don’t get invited to their party because you ate with a different orginization before them, how exactly does that make you a reject?

    Everybody in this event would be ranked in the top 25 maybe top 30 in the IFOCE if they let MLE pull their strings like puppet, which is ironic because you’re making it seem like Kobi is making these eaters his bitch, when in fact MLE’s rules are a much more Nazi’esqu (un-american) then Kobi and his crew are.

    Best of luck to all, while I don’t think event will have much success on July 4th (Maybe make it memorial day instead), it’s nice to give others an opurtunity to compete on a big stage, more events is a good thing for CE and I will always stand by that opinion.

    Krystal, yes when it came to MLE rejects I should not have used the plural. Stephanie, while not even within ear shot of Kobi’s abilities, is an MLE reject. If you wear a disguise, use a false name in order to maintain your MLE status, then get caught and are booted from MLE, well I’m sorry but I don’t know a better way to describe it. The other Kobi patsy eaters either aren’t good enough and left the MLE, failed to qualify for Nathan’s, or never even gave it a shot. All however were handpicked by Kobi as his backdrop eaters that he can beat like a drum, yet still maintain to uninformed reporters that he beat the “competiton” and didn’t just self masticate on a roof somewhere. The big issue however is Kobi, who knows he’s lying saying that he doesn’t want to compare his sham to the actual Nathan’s event. Yet Kobi’s holding his event in Brooklyn on the Fourth of July. I can’t believe the people of Brooklyn, not exactly known for their meekness, are putting up with a foreign national trying to crap on their tradition. Hey, qualifiying from another country and competing and winning at Nathan’s is one thing and commendable. Trying to besmirch the entire event year after year when you for financial reasons no longer wanted to participate in Nathan’s is another.

    Krystal: Yeah, that could be the case. I hope Erik checked it with MLE. But, common sense suggests otherwise or why the alias. If he didn’t check it, looks like Erik might be watching Nathan’s from home this year.

    Do you find it odd that they do this press release and everything for this Crap Dog contest yet no mention of prizes? Has anybody heard anything? Usually that’s the first thing mentioned when it comes to contests. I mean we all know Kobi’s getting paid. But, what do these patsy’s get for getting embarrassed by Kobi at Kobi’s-Celebration-Of-Kobi-This-Is Nothing-Like-Nathan’s-Hot-Dog-Eating-Contest-Even-Though-It’s-Being-Held-In-Brooklyn-On-The-Fourth-Of-July Contest? A free bus trip to New York, a stay at the Hampton Inn in Newark, free complimentary continental breakfast, and a taxi cab ride back to the bus terminal? Oh, and don’t forget the extreme gratitude of Kobi, signed autograph picture of Kobi, and not to let the screen door at Rosario’s hit you on the ass on the way out.

    Well Erik does have a history of loyalty that Stephanie never had. Probably some sort of sanction between Erik and MLE. Something, so you want to go so and so contest, well that’s not going to happen thanks to your doughnut stunt. With Stephanie she just took a hefty paycheck from a major MLE sponsor, trip to New York, stay in a swanky hotel, etc., and a month later she’s pulling this kind of crap. Didn’t bode well for her future nor her judgement.
