Why does Jimmy Lin say at 00:28 in the video that he is there to take back his title from Kevin Ross, when neither Jimmy nor Kevin never won that title previously? The video at 00:08 shows that this was the second annual slider contest , and last year it was won by Jamie McDonald (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqw9wfPvask). So how could Jimmy “take back [his] title from Kevin Ross”? Was he actually referring to the Dog Haus’s hot dog eating contest?

Yeah, that’s correct about the “taking the title back” comment. He was just referring to the most recent contest at the Dog Haus which was a hot dog contest. They have 2 contests per year. Jamie is definitely the slider champ, he would have kicked my ass again if he showed up this year.
