Ironically, he’s probably a light weight when it comes to drinking contests.

it’s sad; all the bad comments about Kobayashi Takeru being chosen for the commercial instead of Joey Chestnut.
the truth of the matter is, that Kobayashi unfairly did not win because the head of the Nathan’s Hot Dog contest just want an American to win. even a simple hot dog contest can’t be done under a fair condition. Joey Chestnut did not eat more than Kobayashi…i was there every year. Many, many people saw and fairly said it was unjust. It’s a contest, not a personal thing. He won fair and square. And now a simple commercial…..people just can’t be happy for a person who is a great athlete…if he gets asked to do a Coors campaign, why can’t it just be…without all the nastiness? geeze, the kid is great. can’t we have a heart? all the stupid blogs saying things about him – shame on all of it. Not only is he a great athlete. . .he is a great person. I’ve had the honor of having an evening with him…I’ve asked him how things are so unfairly said about him, and all he says is, “i don’t know…i just try to be the best”. And he never has a rude comment to say in return.

Maggie James STFU ok? You need to get into the real world. If you have some spare time browse through some of the archives on this site from the past three years and you will see some pretty disgusting comments about certain competitive eaters . Severa of whom have been verbally attacked to the point where you cant blame them for wanting to inflict bodily harm to these individuals that have nothing better to do in their pathetic lives. Where are the bad nasty comments about Kobe? I havent seen any so far. When you say bad comments, are you referring to ones critique of Kobe’s eating ability? You consider those bad comments? It’s water cooler conversation which adds to the vitalization and growth of the sport. Without one’s viewpoints, Kobe or any other great eater becomes a non entity. Bad comments should be defined as poking fun at someone with vicious intent. By the way how do you know he never made a rude comment in return?. He could barely speak the english language . I am sure when he is conversating with his buddies in Japan , he has plenty to say about others.

Maggie
We at PETA are highly offended by your renewed abuse of a deceased farm animal. Beating a dead horse is disgusting and unnecessary.
That is the stupidest post I’ve seen on here in a long time, and considering some of the posts on here, that is saying a lot.
Kobe lost in sheer numbers and should’ve been DQ’ed, but wasn’t, so get over your “Poor Kobe” attitude.

anony 9:14, on the net you can fantasize in your own little world about kicking everyone’s ass right?. Shut up loser. On a different topic did anyone see cold case 48hrs on CBS? The 15 yr old kid they wrongly accused of murder is a dead ringer for Brad the lunatic.

You are a true enigma to this site and i would love for you to let out that rage and anger upon me. I admire your lack of grammatical skills. It is quite sexy if i may add while blushing . Let’s face it competitive eating is finished. The posts on this site are far and few. The comments have slacked off unless OJ took a break from this stupidity and decided to post comments when he feels like it. The eating websites are gone. All we have to look forward to is Nathans and maybe Krystals. Whoopee

Now that’s interesting. The top screwers would have to be able to sustain endurance . No one minute men in that arena . How long can one keep an erection. Will there be rankings in that sport?

At least competitive screwing is a healthy sport with no risk factors like eating. Who pays for the condoms and who provides the bitches ? I hope they dont expect you to bring your own
