Earlier today, Takeru Kobayashi faced off against a lion in an eating contest on a New Year's Day special for Japanese TV called Battle of Beauty and Beast. In 2003, Kobayashi competed against a bear in a hot dog eating contest on Fox's Man vs. Beast program. update Shrugu702 has a video clip of the program.

    Highly doubtful. I think he found a different way to compete and live in New York.

    Probably not. Nathan’s doesn’t seem to want to get rid of the $hea’$. Kobayashi won’t work with the $i$ter$. Can’t work around that impasse.
