The guinness records are really lame for the simple fact you have to show them your mouth after every item you eat. Where else would it go (assuming you’re not conti)?

In what sport on planet earth does the agent make way more money than the sport superstar. There is only one and it’s called MAJOR LEAGUE EATING!! You think you feel disgusted after a contest. Try thinking about this before you spend your hard earned money to go to your next event. The truth will set you free.

Do it or not do it. It is entertainment for most of the eaters, recreation. That’s the truth. MLE eaters make their choices. Kobayashi did too. If you are a Kobayashi or super top eater, you have more choices. Otherwise, again, do it or don’t, accept what you decide and stop complaining.

Blizzz, not all guinness eating records follow that rule, it’s very common though. In some cases like bananas, you have to peel them as well, and as a rule of thumb there is nothing like “half a burger or half a banana” to sum up to your score. It makes totals lower, hovewer there is still room for competition, which is what really matters after all.

Gastroboy
why did he spit out a partial burger and set it aside?
Just curious.
Thanks

@Kool and the Gang,
Haha. He almost finished it and then he sets it aside. It’s not counted towards the final total. Does somebody know what happens at 1:57?
My guess is he was told he did something he wasn’t supose to do with the burger so it wouldn’t count toward the final total even if he finished it. Probably the no mushing rule was in effect (it is a common rule in guinness world records). I though he was mushing all the burgers but if you look closelly you can see he is not (2:33).
Good Question :P.

Until the so called sport gets big enough where people pay to watch them eat, , then expect the agents purse to exceed the superstar purse by a wide margin. With only one real fanatic follower like Rhonda Evans, i dont see that happening in the future or for that matter EVER

I think Brian does a wonderful site for all.I view both sites each day and get different info from each.I Love the difference between the Two and enjoy tremendously.
I am not a food racer but enjoy the interesting forums.The only thing I object to is the bad comments here.Much untidiness.I hope this site will clean up alittle.
