Nintendo is likely paying him to appear plus all other expenses. Not so weird or so different from the MLE/Wii game launch which got a lot of press in NYC. As an independent, he keeps all.

i think competitive eating has gotta alittle to serious and him doing something fun like that is a breath of fresh air….
not every human being knows what 54 HBD at nathans means… but since no comp it wasnt to exciting, seeing Kobi race Donkey Kong is entertaining as shit~!

Maybe we could have Koby attempt to eat “all the donuts in the world” that Homer Simpson was supposed to eat during his short stay in Hell.
You’d have to have one of those machines continuously bringing forward two donuts at a time… this could work
