Island Pacific in Las Vegas will hold a halo halo eating contest on May 9 awarding $500 to the winner and $250 to the runner up. Raina Huang is expected to compete.

This contest sounds awesome! Do you think competitive eaters have a secret technique for tackling something as slippery as halo-halo? Also, how does it compare to other dessert challenges? By the way, I stumbled upon hollow knight while browsing; any thoughts on incorporating different food themes like that into competitions?
