Ellis Island Casino & Brewery will hold qualifiers today and May 19 for a hot dog eating contest on May 28 awarding $1,000 to the winner.

    i wonder how many times they are going to change the format of this contest. originally qualifier were 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th. now it is 11th and 19th. decided to do a small burger contest today instead, at least until they can make up their mind when they want to cook up some chili dogs at ellis island. this probably effects nobody outside of the vegas area so what is the difference.

    ok they used 10 hot dogs with chilli and onions. competitors had 15 min to finish as fast as they can(pinnic style) 3 competitors finished under 4 min (1 under 3 min) that was Johnny Excel

    sorry posted incorrectly Tom Gilbert had a time of 2:07 and Johnnie with 2:45
