Man vs. Food episodes 11-18 locations

Cities for the next eight episodes of Man vs. Food after the initial batch of ten have been listed on the program’s slideshow page:

Portland, OR
Seattle, WA
Los Angeles, CA
San Jose, CA
St. Louis, MO
Denver, CO
North Carolina
Minneapolis, MN

The Travel Channel’s schedule page says that the Portland episode will be televised on February 4 and the challenge will be Salvador Molly’s Great Balls of Fire habanero chile cheese fritters. The episode was recorded on December 9.

Information about restaurants in other cities is available on the internet. The Seattle challenge will be the 12 egg omelet at Beth’s Cafe. Red Mill Burgers was another site for that episode. The Saint Louis challenge restaurant was Pappy’s Smokehouse and the meal was the Big Ben (full slab of ribs, 2 sandwiches, a quarter-chicken, and 4 side dishes)

The Denver episode has yet to be filmed and the challenge will be the 7 pound breakfast burrito at Jack n Grill

The commercial for next week’s New York episode, which co-stars Adam Richman’s mother, is available.

update El Tepeyac, which is famous for giant burritos, and Daichan Kaiten-Sushi were sites for the Los Angeles episode

Iguana’s Taqueria is a San Jose location and the challenge meal there will be the Burritozilla. Joey Chestnut started his competitive eating career in a Burritozilla eating contest and still holds the record of 4 minutes and 26 seconds.

The burrito record has been broken, I think the new record is 1 minute and 40 seconds

Pat knows that there is no point to breaking Joey’s record at the Big Texan, Joey will just go back and beat Pat’s best.

Wouldn’t Pat’s brain speak in the first person? Pat’s brain is doing the thinking for Pat. Pat’s brain is what knows. So shouldn’t Pat’s brain say, “I know…” rather than “Pat knows”?

OJ i suggest you shut your site down until IFOCE runs some contests. This man vs food and coverage of the fake shitbowl is an attempt on your part to substitute those topics because it is a slow year for competitive eating. I don’t forsee many IFOCE contests on the 2009 calender anyhow

It’s the offseason…? How many Major League Baseball games are their in January? None, because it’s the offseason. Calm down. Either way, no matter how many or few IFOCE contests occur throughout the year they will far surpass the popularity and professionalism of the “B” League backyard attempts

I am trying to figure out a way to get down to amarillo and try that steak challenge. i don’t know if I can beat joeys time but I want to give it a shot and to try and eat 2 meals in under an hour as well. I wouldn’t mind going back to the big foot lodge and taking back that record from joey too

this show is fake! On the hellfire challenge, the audience is counting down to one, but the stop watch shows 3:31. He is suppose to wait 5 mins after eating the wings. This is bullshit and he is a fraud. If he really did eat all of that food he would be morbidly obese. Fuck!
