    Why does MLE pick these places that are hard to get to and knowbody has ever heard of ?.. Most of the better eaters now are on the west coast and far east not the midwest so there should be more contests in those regions.

    I think the West Coast is the strongest region for eating right noW – Joey Chestnutt , Matt Megatoad Stonie , Mikki Sudo , Jeff The Beast Man , Michelle Lesco , Juan Rodriguez , Pablo Martinez , Steve Hendry, Eric the Red. However the east coast has more eaters but you have a lot of seiken / barlow types who arnt good eater to water the talent down. Without morgan and Bello the south would fall they have alot of good amaturs though

    Branching out to different regions throughout the U.S killed the IFOCE. It was fun when the majority of the contests were in NY . Travel expenses are ridiculous. Even Wild Bill wisened up

    Locations are decided by who is willing to pay MLE to sponsor a contest. Simple answer.
