    I don’t think that way at all! It’s just a way of trying to convey enthusiasm for CE.

    Frankly, I wouldn’t root for any competitor (in ANY sport) if I wasn’t convinced he was extremely passionate for the sport he participated in. Why root for a competitor who doesn’t think that way?

    As an example, I didn’t care much for hockey until three years ago when I saw the passion with which Alex Ovechkin scored goals. Now, solely because of him, I really love the Capitals and hockey, so much so, I may just be Ovi’s biggest fan.

    I might come across as arrogant in some things (though I don’t mean to), but I think it’s not because of me saying that.

    A lot of people proclaim that they are something’s biggest fan. Doesn’t mean it’s true. I usually try to say “one of…” because I know a lot of other awesome fans.

    Really? Really Really?? Counterpoint????? Look at what Val Bromann has enthusiastically and freely shared with everyone!! Her photos are fantastic as is her fanhoodery. There are certainly lots of awesome fans but not very many who take fabulous photos and write etc. Thanks valry……

There is no such thing as the greatest comptetive eating fan. We’re all fans. What a silly debate. We love competitive eating. That’s why we come here. But you know what, OJ why don’t you create a poll of the greatest competitive eating fan? I think Val might be tops. For me, although she may be an eater, LMM is the the best. Yet, maybe some people might believe that Beauthiful Brian is the greatest fan, an eater in his own rights. His dedication to the sport and the “reporting” he has done is pretty substantial. Besides, giving him a nod wouldn’t hurt. Rhonda? Of course. Mrs. Conte or Crazy Legs himself … I don’t know, it could be fun?     Atticus Finch – aaaww how incredibly sweet; thank you. I do LUV, LUV, LUV this stuff! To me it’s exciting, fun and always a blast just to be around this eclectic group of wonderful men & women. Plus I’m traveling to places I’d NEVER even think about visiting. Win-Win all around even if I’m not lolll 🙂 The others you mention – fantastic people who are all obviously enthusiastic about the sport!!!!

    Brian Seiken is definitely a big fan of competitive eating, but not the biggest. Like it or not, it is hard to go against Rhonda Evans. If it wasn’t for him , her, or it, eatfeats would not be the blog it is today. Rhonda’s enthusiasm for competitive eating is contagious, even if she is disagreed with. She incites thinking.

    The CP Facebook gallery photos are terrific. It looks to have been a huge event extremely well funded and organized with lots of attention paid to promoting the event. And people were entertained and enjoying themselves. Having Stonie and Valerie B. posting stories and photos gives us the insider look, the best of both worlds.

    Oh, sorry, I unfortunatly wasn’t there =[
    Couldn’t stay for the finals because school just started for me and I would’ve been dropped from my classes had I stayed another week. As far as competeing, all these apperences had no teir system for the Pros, the contest was for the AM’s. All of my apperences were invitational and same with the finals, you had to be invited. I originally wasn’t even invited to any of the qualifing rounds, but thanks to one of the sponcers they were able to squeeze me into Bangkok and i was able to fill in last moment in Singapore after Pat had to cancel. Truely greatful to have got the opportinities i got.

    Makes sence though why I wasn’t invited to the finals because as you can see, this being a capactiy contest, I would’ve been leauges behind Tim, Pat, and Joey LOL =[ My capacity isn’t the best….

    I don’t think Matt dissed anyone. he feels he can’t match capacities with Joey, Pat, and X. He referred to his capacity as not the best, he didn’t say not very good. compared to 99% of the population matt is a machine. but he’s comparing himself to chestnut and bertolleti, and janus. He wants to beat those guys! He’s got the heart of a champion. 45 of the mle top 50 can’t touch stonie or the others.

    Sorry, in one sense I ment I wasn’t invited to compete in the Finals, so I couldn’t compete. What i ment when i said i couldn’t stay was that I could’ve stayed to observe the finals, pay for my room and food, and just have them book my flight and week later but i couldn’t for reasons of schooling.

    And I don’t think thats dissing anyone below me in the ranking system, thats just how i personally feel about my capacity compared to where i want to be…. It’s like Federer or Woods saying they had a bad day in tennis or golf, they’re not offending the rest of the sports’ altheletes…. only difference is im not #1 lol.. =[

    No man should lose to a woman. Saying any dude crushed Sonya’s or Juliet’s numbers is reaching pretty low. It’s like they’re not good enough to beat guys, so they are compared to women. It’s like trying to brag on the New York Knicks by saying they can kill the New York Liberty. Any male eater that cannot beat Sonya or Juliet should be banned from the male gender.
