Its not a contest if your hands are tied behind your back and are forced to bury your face in the pie. Those contests went out in the 1930s Gimme a break

no one cares to read past the first few lines apparently

    “Pie Eating Rules

    -Open to anyone 18+
    -Contest begins 8pm
-Contestants will have 5 minutes to eat as many pies as they can.
    -No hands allowed
-Contestants must remain at the table and follow health and safety guidelines. Judges oversee the contest to ensure fair play
-Vomiting during the contest is an automatic disqualification. No spitting out food, pushing food onto the floor, or stuffing food into cheeks at the end”
