The Memphis Flyer has an interview with Brett Healey about Donuts & Dogs, an event in Memphis he founded combining road running and eating Krispy Kreme donuts which raises money for the Streetdog Foundation, a charity that rehabilitates feral dogs.

    Thank you for the post OJ! This has honestly been one of the most fulfilling things to come out of my eating career. Major shoutout to Derek Hendrickson, Brandi Hendrickson, Cherish Brown & Mansour Alneyadi for coming from all across the country for the event for the 2nd year in a row. This sense of community is what it’s all about 🙂

    ^^props to Mr. Healey. Way to create an annual event that combines food, fun, and pets for a great cause. Love to see these great stories on here from time to time vs. the regular day-to-day bashing that inundates the comments that are posted.
