    Seiken name needs to be part of a thread at least twice a week. OJ RIfkin seems to have something against senior citizens like koch seiken and lerman

    Competitive eating is not for old farts. Who wants to watch eaters gum food? If you’re over 30 you should throw in the towel.

    Many things grow with age. Including the appetite for those that work hard and or live an active lifestyle. Wait until you grow up, you will realize the error in your ways. I think the locust would disagree for one. Besides, i watched the video and the two folks looked young.

    The locust should be banned from all future contests and give back all the money he has earned over the years because he competed with false teeth which gave him an edge over natural teeth. . That is not fair at all.

    Ron Koch, I was respecting my elder eaters. I am older than 30. Yes we have met. I am in las vegas. If you reread the comments i was the guy defending the older eaters!

    We have met, very recently. You are an AWESOME eater.

    As a complete newbie, i would not come on here and disrespect elder eaters. I was kind of pissed that some anonymous poster was disrespecting older eaters. I don’t think there is anybody that can eat MORE than Richard. Just pure capacity. But he has the speed to go head to head with the best as well.

    I would be thrilled to see you again. I read about what you did at IHOP. You offered me some very good advice very recently in vegas. Again i can eat and would love an opportunity to learn from you. I would not disrespect you. I would not disrepect any senior eaters ok.

    Ron, you might be the 2nd best eater over 40. I have seen your accolades and respect them.

    So over 30 means your in the senior citzen league? Awesome so I only have one more year of getting my ass handed to me by the likes of Joey, Pat, Monson, Hall Hunt, Adrian, Big Sexy, etc… Then i get to get my ass handed to me by the likes of Bob, Sonya, Eater X, ETR, Tim brown, Juliet, Badlands, Flash, CLC, Gary Klucken and Ron Koch!! Actually the older group dosent seem any easier then then younger group!! Maybe age plays no real role in CE….

    There really should be a senior league. I’d say 40 should be a good round number to use. Eaters older than that are at a real disadvantage going against the Joeys, Pats, and Kobys of the world.

    If age isn’t a factor, then why are Rich, Ron, C. Legs, and Seiken all going down hill? It’s an even worse story for the two over 40 women. Yet, look at Joey, Pat, Erik the Red, Hall Hunt, and Ben Monson. They are unmatched in talent.

    the anonymous commenter is wrong. if we look at the older eaters they dont get worse with age. just there happens to be a bunch of kids that are excellent eaters. evolution maybe.

    ron koch, i wasnt disrespecting you or lerman or rich. i am older myself and i get furious at the agism going on.
