Not bad, but leaves room for improvement. It is great to see the game finally out, not so great to see so many deserving eaters left out. Top Ten stars Humble Bob,Chip, Hall Hunt all M.I.A. If you weren’t selected for the Las Vegas Spike shows – and even if you were, in some cases, you are out of luck, and out of the game.
The game action is very funny, with belches, burps, bad breath a constant nemesis. The cartoon depictions are very good. That’s got to be a thrill for those who made the cut. If you expect real results, forget it.
Even El Toro wins sometimes in this game, and the preview trailer has Rich beating Kobayashi in hot dogs…..pre-jawritis, I don’t this so.
Overall, this game has more potential than this first version has delivered. It looks like a toy you get for Christmas that you excitedly play with for a couple hours, then put away when the initial euphoria wears off, and the novelty fades. The first version definitely leaves you wanting more….more eaters, more foods, and a chance to have a several player food fest.
I look forward to, hopefully, additional editions (as Steakbellie said in a previous post) featuring those leftover Top Ten eaters mentioned above, as well as the more colorful denizens of eatingdom. Many eaters ranked in the top fifty are comics already, and if #41 is in the game, there’s no reason, or excuse, not to include the other “table enders” that make every competition a memorable event.

The characters look interesting, to say the least. Joey looks like a youthful Popeye the Sailor (or Sweet Pea all grown up). I don’t know who or what Pat’s animation looks like; I only know it doesn’t look like Pat Bertoletti. Pat’s handsome, but not that representation of him. (Pat would probably shoot himself if he looked that bad.)
I think they did the best jobs with the characters of Rich, Sonya, Juliet, and Tim. Erik looks like a sociopathic Archie (the cartoon Archie from Riverdale High). Crazy Legs looks like Goober (from the old Andy Griffith show) strung out on crack. Koby looks more American than Japanese, hence the reason for the Rising Sun sweat band.

It will be hard to do the real life eating contests justice with a videogame, but I can not wait to see what the game is like! What stores is this coming out in? I need to know where to set up my tent so I can camp out the night before it comes out and buy it.

The eaters in the game are the ones MLE intends to promote in the future. Everyone else in the ifoce might as well find another hobby because ifoce has no need for them especially the fat ones

Why must some people only focus on how shitty the fertilizer must smell in an obviously beautiful rose garden?
