Morey's Piers in Wildwood, NJ will hold a curley fries eating contest awarding $500 to the winner on May 28. Entrants will need to submit a video telling why they want to compete to receive a spot in the contest.

    I’m pretty sure it means Morey’s Piers realized.. ‘Hey we can do this just as easy, as those clowns that charged us 10 times what there worth was.’ Kinda a shame they came to that realization a year too late, & probably wasted about $15,000.

    Hi my name is US Male .The reason i want to compete is that i was dumped from the IFOCE and this is one of the few opportunities for me to get noticed. In addition i dont have to deal with Big Brian Subich accusations that i snuck some curly fries to the kids in the crowd. I dont mind beating up on a bunch of second rate eaters. $500 bucks is $500 bucks right?

    Gentleman Joe is on the money. Why do this for $15,000 when they can invest a few thousands max and do it themselves. From what I hear, the crowd was pretty lame so the IFOCE did not do their job as promised.

    Why wouldn’t Dave do this event? He would be stupid to pass up the opportunity since it’s a local event. If he were to win the $500, it is $49.99 more than Big Brian Subich ever won during his tenure with the IFOCE.

    Could be wrong on that one CE fan. Subich had a few paydays Shoe fly pie $500 Baked Beans $300 US open $500 (that really doesnt count though everyone got that)
