There’s nothing on Nathan’s homepage or social media that indicated a recall. I guess they don’t want bad publicity.
BTW, they have launched their summer rewards program. Upload your receipts for Nathan’s hot dogs and earn points for prizes, such as a Nathan’s cap, bag, t-shirt, mug, koozie, pen, etc. You can also earn points by playing games at their virtual amusement park:
https://rewards.nathansfamous.com/#
I have receipts for about 20 packs of Nathan’s hot dogs so far. I can get a t-shirt.

Crap. They limit you to just 750 points per month on the reward program. That’s just 10 packs of Nathan’s hot dogs (10 points for every full dollar spent). The limit is too low. That would last for only 1 or 2 weeks of training.

The Coney Amusement park game they have on the Nathan’s website is great. I was in an eating contest and ate 28 HDB in 90 seconds to claim 3rd place. Unfortunately, Chestnut had 54 and Stonie had 51. Then I got to be a workers at Nathan’s and served customer lunch. I didn’t do so well and was slow.

The natural casing hot dogs are on sale at shoprite for $3.99 for a pack of 5. If you reside in NY or NJ Nathans in Coney Island is not that far away. You can purchase the uncooked hot dogs right there in the restaurant 12 for $6 or something like that unless the price went up and they sell package of rolls 12 for $2.50 . 50 cents per dog . If you buy them at the stand cooked its like $3.75 a dog? What a fuckin ripoff and you still get these moronic tourists paying for it

Thanks 7:33. In my area, the natural casing 5-packs costs $7.99. And the Nathan’s restaurants (not many around) here refuse to sell you packs. But they just opened a new Nathan’s in a Walmart here, so I might ask them. In the meantime, I just use Costco Kirkland all-beef hot dogs ($9.99 for a 36-pack) until my final training sessions.

Anonymous 12:26: you have to look around. They may very well available, sometimes just not in regular grocery stores. Some stores are not listed in the Nathan’s website locator, which is poorly maintained. You might have to look in higher-end stores, like Sprouts (similar to Whole Foods, but cheaper), which has them, or bulk-food type stores, like Smart & Final Extra!. Place a message on popular national food message boards and ask for help locating Nathan’s natural casing. That is what I did and how I found the two stores above.
Also, try Boar’s Head natural casing all-beef as a substitute. They are similar in weight and length to Nathan’s (you might have to cut an inch off each sausage to make them the same weight/length), are more inexpensive, and have batter ingredients and less artificial preservatives. Their customer service is great and they will tell you what store in your area is authorized to sell them.

@2:07pm i stand by my comment about not being available in most areas. At least where I live its non existent, just recently getting skinless kinds in the store. Do not think i heard of boar’s head ones. I will check those out tho. Thanks!

Does anyone know what size buns Nathan’s uses for the contest? I’ve seen buns commercially ranging from 42 oz to 53 oz and larger.

Use a curling iron to toast your buns. Make sure you ask Killer. He knows everything.
You say you weigh challenges. Where’s your scale? Did you borrow one from the “Verifying Queen” herself?

Killer uses a clothing iron. Get it right. This way he can thoroughly crumble and dry multiple buns at once so they become debris. This is his verification process.
He weighs his challenges with a magic scale. It’s like a magic 8 ball. You shake it and it comes up with random weights.
I fully expect the 13 hot dogs that Killer The Klown eats to weigh 36 lbs.
Congratulations on being the puking wonder!

This is the correct way to grill a Nathan’s hot dog, oink oink:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJnPCuqGOZw
An iron is not used, but you must grill the top part of the bun face down, as seen in the video.

12:50, wtf is a ‘Class action suite’? Is that the suite where you milfy mother is our teacher and she gives the whole class action, at the same time?
And wtf is a ‘competator’? Is that when your sis gets involved?

Portly Walrus here. Klutzy Kandace uses a curling iron to brown his buns. This way it pre debris breaks them up. Cheating takes strategy.

Thats beside the point Whether you like someone or not if someone goes out of your way to be nice the least you can do is show appreciation by saying thank you . Apparantly you were brought up with no morals and furthermore whatever tension there was between the both of them occurred a long time after the hot dog thing. So get your facts straight before you spew off shit you know nothing about ok fool?

Speaking of Seiken i hear he is contemplating live streaming on YT next week to discuss his life after he dumped his site and gave up competing . I would guess maybe 2 viewers would join the chat

Maybe some of you are blind to the real truth. Before Stephanie joined up with MLE she would email or text Seiken asking advice on personal problems. The relationship was anything but sexual . Just a friendship and nothing more. Seiken rarely pursued female eaters . It was the other way around because of his popularity and status in the competitive eating community that they would seek him out for advice

Damon Wells and his gf at the time Eva Ramirez went out to a bar restaurant with Torres . After they finished eating or during the meal , Torres spotted a friend of hers at the table and darted out of the restaurant while Damon and Eva had to foot the bill

No. By 2010, when Torres got involved, Seiken was a pariah to the CE world. Stephanie was just being nice, as were Miki and Lesco when they took pics with him.
