The ESPN schedule for July 4 has been finalized and the women’s Nathan’s Famous contest will be streamed on ESPN3 yet again while ESPN2 shows the talk show “First Take”. ESPN3 will also offer individual cameras for Geoff Esper and Miki Sudo.

It is possible that the women’s first place total could surpass the men’s this year. (IF Miki’s 2020 numbers were accurate)

need more women that can eat 20+ hot dogs for the female contest to actually be broadcast in TV in the future. it’s a shame, but it’s the truth. ESPN isn’t being sexist, just maximizing their revenue.
And I hope they do eventually start to put women’s contest on Live TV. But a more competitive field of eaters is necessary first, before that will happen

Too many females are qualilifying with single digit numbers or low teens sudo and lesco are the only ones that deserve to be at the table the rest are not even worth a mention

Z-Burger is on the 3rd, tomorrow. Not many talk about it, but it’s usually a Molly/Dan extravaganza. Weird contest time in the middle of the day.

@9:34, oooh, we’re all shaking in our boots. If MLE actually did this, the women should all mutiny and refuse to compete because that would not be fair to them. Unless it was some non-professional eater / a celebrity like that one model girl that says she can eat 8 hot dogs in 10 mins.
