    My question is why does she use a timer that’s not visible on big challenges like this but when she does a smaller challenge she uses her laptop as a timer? Extremely impressive regardless

    If you watch closely
    Right before 4 min and right after 630 it skips. She totally spliced this!!! Notice how she slows to a crawl and then speeds up! You don’t go from 16 hdb to A list like that. Nice try though. I don’t buy it for a second.

    12:55 is so correct. During various parts of the video her sleeves are up and sometimes down yet we don’t seeing her touching them throughout the video. At the point around 6;30 you can really see the difference as the sleeves are all the way down and then suddenly they are pushed up. She must be puking between takes.

    It’s clear as day that you went to puke to finish the challenge, and it’s pathetic that you’d even post this.

    Soooo….. pretty please, just drop the act. You’re cute and sweet, and I’m sure you’ll do well with your existing abilities, but, if you make this bullshit of faking challenges a habit, REAL eaters will start calling you out for being a fraud.

    This isn’t the first time I’ve seen an eating challenge video utilize this sort of editing but I dunno if it automatically implies the person has cheated, although I can understand the skepticism.

    What can a person be doing in the middle of a challenge? Who knows. Bathroom break, vomit….life interruption?

    Ive seen eating challenge videos glitch like that before and even cut away including stonie, erik the electric but I don’t think it necessarily means they cheated. they may just be using cheap editing software. plus if you look at her face it’s not red/her eyes don’t seem irritated, if someone has just puked its normally obvious.

    I cannot believe the ignorance and nastiness of some commenters. Aspergers Syndrome has a broad scale of behaviors. Think before you leave hurtful comments and read more and inform yourself more. People are spoken of as being on the Aspergers Spectrum. In some cases, one would have no idea that the person struggles socially. High intelligence is indeed often a companion.

The term bi polar is thrown around more as a joke when referring to an individual that has mood swings however bi polar is nothing to poke fun at and some do just that even if the person they are referring to was never diagnosed with the illness

    Take it from me, Randy’s videos are edited big time. Take for instance one of his pizza videos. He started eating then had 12 midgets come in to eat half the pizza and then he continued on his own. Another time, he went to fart and crapped himself instead clearing room to finish that challenge.     Whatever the case may be, one thing we can all agree on is that we hope this story doesn’t end up like that guy from Cleveland a few years. He set his sights on winning Nathan’s and couldn’t even win the qualifier. He also had a whole bunch of fans blindly supporting him too. RIP to him, with no disrespect at all.     It is not that people are commenting on here to purposely rip her. Posts can also be positive or negative opinions. I don’t think making remarks about this being a doctored up video is totally negative. If Nela were to read all this maybe she would take the criticism and do some unedited videos to show what talent she may have. It is a shame that some people are blind to the reality of what may be happening here.

    I don’t believe she cheated. There’s plenty of normal explanations as to why the video is cut like that and this isn’t the first eating challenge video from someone high profile I’ve seen with those edit glitches but I guess we will see from her performance at the Nathan’s qualifier in Houston.

    While I disagree with the “over 20 pounds” estimate for the 10 sandwiches, it’s definitely more than 11 pounds since each footlong has to weigh over 1 pound with all the meats and veggies and bread. So basically for anybody who doesn’t think she cheated, understand that you are saying you believe she can eat over 11 pounds of food and finish “casually” in 46 minutes, with room for more. And she is able to slow down to a crawl after a few minutes of eating, get a “second” wind and speed up for a while, slow down to a crawl and then get a “third wind” and keep going til the end. Lol how are you going to explain Miki doubling her Nathan’s total if Nela even makes it through the qualifier, if they have similar stomach capacities “apparently?” The saddest thing is that so many reputable eaters are commenting and congratulating her. What’s next? 1000 chicken nuggets in 2 hours? It might take 10 pukes but it would get lots of views!!

    Let’s get a “gofundme” going because I want to see Nela take on the 11 to 13 pound Fat Sal’s Sandwich challenge and also the Big Greek Sandwich up in Oregon or wherever it is that Jamie and Naader have finished. I doubt she gets halfway.
