Just that you are asking that question speaks on her behalf.

like George says a cross between a jackel on the Sarigetti and Anna Kornakova

your crush on her is uncomfortable to witness.

comparing her to anna kornakova is really pushing it. George Shea monologue is getting real stale. Some years ago it was catchy but at the present moment it’s about as dead as disco

Recognizing special talent does not equate to having a crush on someone.

I’d have to vote for La Costena jalapenos as the most unexpected one, given Pat’s total domination in that event, but you could make a case for just about any one of the nine events listed. Perhaps Molly Pitcher was the most unexpected win, at least at the time.

I believe disco will make a comeback and so will George’s phrases

Disco will make a comeback. It has too much energy not to. Many songs from that genre are certainly better than some of the sphincter locks I hear today.

To The Future: That description of Sonya has morphed into George describing her as “pure evil … the total absence of beauty!”

The first time I heard him say that I was shocked. But I’ve actually gotten used to it.

Sonya is very sweet, but when she’s at the table she’s like Stallone flipping his hat around before an arm-wrestling match in the movie, “Over the Top.”

Really? I guess I haven’t been paying close attention. I too am shocked, but then a Sonya by any other name would smell as sweet. Focussed evil at the table, beauty before and after, Sonya continues to amaze. I voted for Molly Pitcher though it was definitely hard to choose. Age doesn’t seem to be a factor for Sonya, she is probably one of the healthiest of all eaters.

Hi CLM! It’s always good to see you chime in. There are so many anonymi on this site that by the time their remarks get posted I can’t relate to what they’re saying.

(This addresses the Buffalo Wing Festival): I’m as much against animal cruelty as anyone, but this is a bit much: http://www.peta.org/mc/NewsItem.asp?id=15133.

If PETA knew about Sonya’s other foul victories, they’d think she has it in for chickens during their entire life cycle, cradle to grave, given her wins in eggs, wings, chicken nuggets, and chicken tenders—-not to mention turducken.

While Peta may not be a fan of Sonya’s, I was thinking just yesterday that there should be some investors willing to help Sonya open a franchised business whether it be Burger King or some other permutation. She would be a natural for it, her story is perfect. Was composing a private e-mail to Sonya in my mind but for now, it will have to be the thought that counts.

I never thought I’d see PETA and CE cross paths…. but it makes some sense!

Oh Peta has had CE on its radar for many years, and there have been many rather (to me) hilarious juxtapositions. You would have to ask eaters from the past about their Peta experiences, I do remember several protestors at a Nathans contest. Vegans were also at Nathans wearing tofu hats…….something like that. Taking the middle road often is wise and doesn’t alienate people, allows for communication. Let each march to his or her own drumstick. Extremism in any form is not a fine human quality.

Oops, posted under anonymous and didn’t notice that somehow I was logged out. The Peta response just a minute ago was me.

I have an idea. How about we build some nice cozzy chicken houses with windows so the birds have a good view before becoming dinner. How did PETA know that the wings we ate in Buffalo were covered in filth? Maybe next year, the wings should be skinless to help reduce our fat and cholesterol intake helping us to live longer lives.

I am going to save a few chickens right now by eating my big fat cheesesburgers now.
