New poll: top non IFOCE eater in unified American rankings

The new poll asks where you think the best non-IFOCE American eater, whoever you think that is, would rank in a poll listing all American eaters regardless of organization.

    Those of you who voted 1-4 are high, as are those who voted 30 on down.

    Before leaving on my own accord, I was ranked #6 in the world. I’m not saying I would rate that high currently. But top 20 is more than realistic. I have beaten & never lost to Shoudt, Conti, Erik the Red, LaRue, & many more outside of the top 20.

    Based on who is ranked where, I would put myself at #11, maybe a touch higher. For the time being, I would put myself a hair above Goose, but that may change, soon.

    If some of the retired, or semi retired eaters were included, I might be down to 15.

    Go ahead all, & tell me how wrong, crazy, &/or ill informed I am.

    You are beating up on questionable competition in your aice organization. Some of aice top eaters which are very few can beat you right now. If you were in the IFOCE at present you would hardly be noticed because most of the top guns would bury you! Predicted MLE ranking 19-23

    Aice is not my organization. I am a free agent. If I was allowed to compete in an occasional ifoce contest, without signing a ridiculously restrictive “contract”, I might do so. I like picking what contests I will eat in, regardless of sponsors, organizations, etc. Everyone SHOULD be able to do the same.

    I’m not delusional, I was barely noticed when I was #6. Most of the top guns would bury me. I am …one of the best of the rest.

    As a personality Conti is better. As an eater, no way. That’s why I put #11. 19-23 is more than likely, a little low.

    Some aice eaters have beaten me. It does happen. I know what I am best at, & try to go beyond that. Unlike, someone like Boone, who won’t compete in longer contests.

    Joe I think you are fairly close with that # 11 ranking of yourself as an IFOCE eater. However, I would have you # 10 or # 9.

    I did not lose to either of them. They tied me in regulation & I smoked them in OT. With the 1 minute OT I ate more than the actual winner.

    I hope your female, if you are, you may take off the classic thong for me… with your tongue.

    1st of all, what makes an ifoce press release correct?!

    2nd, I was taking your word for it that I competed in 2003. It was obviously 2002, since the last ifoce event I competed in was Wings in Buffalo in early September of 2003. Even though my “membership” was up either 6/30/03 or 7/1/03. I wasn’t at the 2003 contest, even as a spectator. I don’t think I had even met Chapman yet.

    As I wrote before, I tied for 3rd in regulation w/Boone & Conti. (which I readilly admit, is pretty embarrasing in & of itself) I then smoked them in the 1 minute eat-off for 3rd, in 2002. Cookie ate 21 in the contest I was in. MY FACTS ARE STRAIGHT!

    I assume you to be a women, cuz you are hiding under the dress of anonymous.

    I did NOT include Boone as one of the eaters to have never beaten me. He did come in 2nd in Ribs in Oregon when I competed, & I came in 3rd. He did finish above me, but not by a lot. I have great respect for Boone as a SPEEDeater & his entertaining, rambuctious public persona. I’m probably a bigger Boone fan than you. (unless you are Boone)

    Dale is a tremendous eater for up to 4 minutes or so, depending on the food. Longer than that he becomes a good eater. He has outstanding value as an entertainer, as he is very quick to say what is on his mind. Like it or not, you have to respect that part of his psyche. Controversy sells and he creates it better than any other MLE eater.

    I believe the poll asked about where non-ifoce eaters would rank. There was no mention of AICE or Gentleman Joe. I know at least 4 people who would break into the top 20 if they competed, but they don’t want the whole baggage that comes with CE. If I know 4 top 20 eaters who don’t compete, I can’t help but believe that there is an unknown out there who could beat Kobi but hasn’t appeared
