    MOTIF , how do you figure that? Is it because he will do a Nathans qualifier . That does not mean he will be in IFOCE . He has done enough contest to be considered an independant eater .

    Looks like we have a List War brewing. I love the concept. It’s tough to create any sort of definitive “Non-MLE” ranking cuz lots of the eaters we’re pulling together don’t regularly face each other (if they ever have). Some rarely participate in CE, and some participate in interesting venues.

    Tom Gilbert dominates Vegas but rarely eats out of town – these days. Pete has an overwhelming internet presence. Dale Boone crushes the competition in India. Until recently, Johnnie Excel was the master of indy California, but his participation has dropped. I’d throw a few names up there, such as Jimmy Lin, who has shown he can hang with Kevin Ross and Excel.

    Lol some of these lists are ridiculous as far as order is concerned….

    Its hard to say who is the “best” non MLE person since everyone independent has their own niche. Obviously I’m going to say Ross is #1 but I’m bias 😉 lol…tho I do believe he is better than some of the people he was listed below..

    As far as capacity is concerned I’m sure everyone can agree that Naader is the man…

    Speed + capacity I would definitely have to go with Stephanie…

    Obviously top three are Koby (pawns all), Pete, Tom (in that order)

    I dont know enough independant people to make a legit list but did everyone forget about Randy Santell? I know he doesnt do big contests but he is really good at both speed and capacity.

    Tom Gilbert dominates Furious Pete and every other NON MLE eater,except Kobayashi . Pete is just more popular I guess than him but the past contests they’ve both been in, have proved it.(meatballs and hot dogs,but yes. As far as, Stephanie,it can be said she’s next on the list,”unofficially”of course.Goose beat her in enchiladas and spaghetti, I believe?     Goose thinks that by laying low he has a chance for the Nathan qualifier in Vegas, no chance unless he signs..If he did sign he probably go to the qualifier in were ever there would be room..Vegas is overflowing with the eaters from the west whos qualifiers have bee changed..

    It’d be interesting to ever see Tom eat at a Nathan’s table. Based on his Derby Deli performances, he’d probably pack away 25-30 hdbs in 10m. I know the products are different. But I think they are comparable enough to say this much. Hdbs aren’t his strongest food and a good chunk of the MLE roster would top him (unless he’s secretly been sandbagging and training his eyes out).

    Gilbert wont sign a contract..He wants to be an independant eater, do all the challanges and compete against whanabees and kids or old men.He should compete in the womens division.. I would like to see Naader compete,hes a true eater..

    Tom Gilbert will be at the Vegas qualifier guaranteed. He will eat between 27-29. Thats his limit. If any1 else from the top 10 is there he wont win
