It has now been 368 days since the Major League Eating top 50 was updated on December 23, 2013. I think this is the first time there has been over a year between rankings updates.

    The reason for the delay is the Shea’s and MLE are preparing for damage control for when the current #50 leaps off a ledge after he is dumped from the rankings.

    When all the low ranked eaters who wouldn’t sign a contract are removed Seiken will move up to #25 or so. Don’t fool yourself, this is his year.

    This could be a way for MLE to weed out the non essentials and losers and only rank a top 25. Let’s face it, any one below 25 either don’t take CE seriously and don’t care to be ranked or are aging, overweight, lonely hack slob hanging on to a dream that will never become reality and content being part of a group of those that despise him.

Please George give this no life loser back his undeserved #21 (was that it?) ranking before he goes off the deep end. For someone who claims he wants no part of the organization he seems to have this obsessive male crush with an aging last place member

    I’d sign a contract if I actually got something occasionally, but having exactly the same number of top eaters show up at every show as money spots paid, made me realize I’m better off doing small local competitions and winning $100 here and there.

    I sure as shit wouldn’t do it just to say I’m a ranked eater, whether #21 or #50
