Joey Chestnut: Nathan’s Finals winner, 2007-2013, and counting.
All those streaks represent people with amazing talent. I’m most impressed with Kobi’s, Joey’s, Sonya’s, Lester’s, and Colin’s streaks, in that order. Pete’s, Molly’s, and Miki’s streaks are merely conversation pieces between two gents at adjacent urinals while taking a hearty piss.

“In 2011, Kobayashi was still barred from the annual Nathan’s event due to the contract dispute. On July 4, he competed on the rooftop of a Manhattan bar, 230 Fifth, for the duration of the Coney Island contest. Two official judges from the Athletic Association of NY observed Kobayashi while the live broadcast of the event played next to him on a large television screen. Kobayashi finished a record 69 Nathan’s hot dogs, one more than the Nathan’s world record and seven more than Chestnut’s winning total in the 2011 contest.” Wikipedia
Joey only wins because they made sure Kobayashi was no longer around, and wouldn’t let Pete compete in the MLE.
Thank goodness Matt Stonie is slowly overtaking him.
