    No one ever ever has a lock on fame. Kobayashi chose not to sign and he continues to not sign by choice. He was even offered something, we know not what. Moses was not a competitive eater. This analogy is not appropriate. It is sacrilegious. If you are referring to others no longer on the wall, the same applies. There may be other ways to be honored in the future. Do not bite the hand that fed you.

    Don, you received a huge amount of recognition when you were with MLE. I admire your accomplishments. Your records will stand. You made a new choice. We all have to live with the consequences of our actions and choices. No one can have everything. Enjoy your life and stop worrying about what might have been. You have lots of fans.

    Who replaces a picture of an overly qualified winner? Regardless of the dirty dealings of MLE he still won when he was abiding by their rules. That’s defamation of character at the least, but I’d go as far to say racist as well. Did they think no one would notice that they replaced his picture with another eater of Asian decent? Really? This is bs! I’m not eating, participating, or watching Nathan’s ever again. Scumbags. Get out of the Shea’s pockets!

    This ticks me off. To say that Badlands Booker was removed because he no longer has fame in CE is absurd. Badlands Booker gives his heart and soul to the IFOCE & CE and they stick a knife & fork in his back. Baldands next album should be called F**ked & Screwed!

    The Sheas say Koby may some day appear back in the IFOCE. Will they ever attempt to make offers to return to eaters like Don Lerman, Joe Menchetti, Joe Larue or Dave Goldstein? Doubt it

    I agree. This is too bad. Who are the eaters who have been removed or voluntarily left IFOCE over the years? These are the people I have heard of:

    Takeru Kobayashi
    Dale Boone
    Dave “U.S. Male” Goldstein
    Joe LaRue
    “Gentleman” Joe Menchetti

    Many of these people left for good reason since they were severely mistreated.
