Does anyone know what happened to Juliet Lee? According to MLE website she passed away.

Its true i just saw it on the website. MLE just posted a few videos of her eating noodles and eggs. What on earth did she die from? She looked healthy . Pretty shocking news . My condolences to the family

I am very glad there is no dumpling contest this year. Last year they were hard and cold and the best part is Joe Rose won’t be able to get free food and take pics of everyone with his 1999 flip phone without their consent

Very sad news . It truly hits home because for the first time a well known and talented existing MLE member has passed away. I am assuming she must have been sick for quite some time

This deserves a separate listing but beware you negative posters and respect her memory. We will never know what happened so all will be speculation.

I could be wrong but this is the very first time MLE has posted the passing of one of their members

MLE mentioned Patrick VanDam’s passing in 2010 from a diving accident on its CompetitiveEatingNews.com website

Safe to say you can rule out heart attack but her death points to a cancer diagnosis from years past that spread

If someone is anorexic, their heart function is affected.

The reason why the contest was cancelled was Greenwald and his retarded aice ran the event . Without him the sponsors have no MC and are clueless as to how to run the show. I believe this will be the end of the event . Shea asking price to run the event would be far too much for these asian people to agree

This should be a 10 Minute competition anyways. Not 2 or 3.

All this time Greenwald got his two cents into the deal and offered to MC the show at bargain basement dirt cheap price they couldnt resist. The contest should be like 5 min not 10. . The sponsors are very nice but their grab bag leaves alot to be desired. They could at least give us a 3 month supply of dumplings to take home instead of th echeap carrying case a rubber doll and a few cookies. I think it was much better when they held the contest in queens

I am sick and tired of the high costs of food shutting down eating competitions. 2, 3 or 5 minute competitions are for speedeaters. 10 minutes are for the true competitive eaters
