The Onion's AV Club has an interview about his post-Major League Eating career. He hopes to move his restaurant, Taco in a Bag, to central Chicago after his lease in Dundee, IL expires in March.

I don’t see much of a future in running that taco stand. Maybe Pat should ask Wayne Norbitz for a job at at a Nathan’s fast food place. He might have to start out as a fry cook, but with extra effort there may be management opportunities for him.

I think he hits it on the nose as to what his addictions are and that it probably applies to many in the world of competitive eating .Substance abuse and not talking about food more like alcohol. In the interview like many of his interviews, you dont know whether this douche is being real or sarcastic or maybe hes just stoned 24 hrs a day Dude dude dude dude

I totally agree with 558 at least he can get some real exposure making french fries in the back of the kitchen at Nathans in Coney Island . There is a very good chance they might let him take home a bag or two

When the lease expires who’s going to pay the rent even if he moves the business to south side of Chicago which is the slum of all slums. He hasnt made a dime in profit even after his rent was covered for an entire year. At this point the only possible way to keep the business above water is to ask for services of Miki Sudo to show up in a Nathans shirt and sign autographs in the stand while Pat and Tim serve food
