Great job Pat, Tim, Erik, Eric and everyone.

It’s a shame Sonya could not have been there. After watching her devour the hottest wings in Buffalo after the wing contest, she would have done very well, though I think Juliet could have won the whole thing.

Still not a great showing by Denmark…look towards 2012 for hopefully a better year.

Juliet has not and probably will not ever beat Sonya.

I think Sonya probably believes, and rightfully so, that if she were to stick around long enough, some female would eventually outeat her (or at least eat more than 41 HDBs), but I surely would not want to bet on it any time in the next year or two.

If it were to happen, CE news-wise, it would mark a new era in the female division, much like Joey ending the era of Kobayashi’s dominance in MLE.

Similarly, if Joey sticks around long enough, someone will top him in Nathan’s too, or at least his record. That’s just the nature of things.

However, I think more than a couple of Sonya’s women’s records are here to stay for a long, long time.
