Real Clear Politics recorded a video interview of Pat Bertoletti while driving around Chicago. He thinks that competitive eating has declined over the past five years and blames the hit or miss nature of contest publicity as the reason for the descent.

    Using my journalistic skills, I have uncovered enough facts to write an article about how low-ranked, or un-ranked, eaters feel the need to bash one another to further their need for public exposure and acceptance. There seems to be a personality type that thrives in that environment. Except to revel in his 15 nanoseconds of fame, why would someone allow himself to be subjected to the BS that Seiken allows, and even causes, to be heaped upon him? He could just get along and no one would know who he is. He clams to despise OJ Rifkin, yet he maintains his role as the center of attention at the circle jerk that is EATFEATS.

    Funny how the two faced Seiken haters used to respect him and considered his site #1 and then a complete turnaround just because he spoke the truth about a few phonies in MLE. I wonder how the same two faced hypcrit would act if all of a sudden Booker turned on them? It might take time to sink in for a few but sooner or later they would be calling him a fat fuck and other nasty racial remarks saying his rap music sucks blah blah.     Jimmy, Seiken updates his website once a month could care less about comp eating anymore and could care less who visits it I rarely visit the site but when i do i dont see the bashing of people the way you describe it. Maybe you hate just so you can jump on the bandwagon and follow the leader. As far as eatfeats, i doubt Seiken posts on here nor does he post under assumed names. Instead of speculating take it up with OJ he runs this site not Seiken. BTW if i were Perry White i would fire you on the spot because you make a lousy reporter
