“Rocky Bologna” movie planned

In his bits & pieces, Brian Seiken announces plans to make a Rocky parody. The lead role will be named “Rocky Bologna.” Don “Moses” Lerman is expected to play the role of Paulie, Rocky’s brother in law.

    Steak you probobly have the upper hand with the big loud crowd and the arena.No eating in my flick though. I dont think i can rent out an arena for the movie . If im going to play Rocky i had better start getting in real shape just so i can resemble a boxer. The movie would go over much better if i were a philly native spectrum(wachovia) etc etc. Good luck on your project

    Once you “get in shape”…….I don’t know what geometric form you are going for, the next item on the agenda will be who is going to play Adrian. Joliet Lee or Helen Haggardy? My vote is for Tim er I mean Helen. You could get into a street fight and he Tim/Adrian could put the beat down on someone. However it might be interesting to do a crouching tiger hiden dragon (i think that is right) parody and have Lee doing the arial assault on your would be assailant.

    Who knows maybe these are just WEAK ideas from a WEAK eater. lol I don’t expect royalties for the ideas just a spot in film credits. Who am I kidding you would never use an AICE eaters input for anything. If nothing else I limited some options for the spoof, I mean film.

    just because you have those ideas doesn’t necessarily mean they’re oscar-worthy. having said that, I’m sure they’ll consider your idea. this has nothing to do with people not respecting ideas from an aice eater, but rather, ideas generated by passers-by on the internet.

    p.s. I’m an AICE eater myself, so no, I am not bashing your AICE affiliation.

    I was ENTIRELY kidding about the AICE comment and subsequent idea recognition. I look forward to seeing the final cut of the movie. I think it would be funny.

    WHY NO CE IN THE MOVIE? That sucks…..just based on CE’s need for as much exposure as possible.

    Sheas’s would destroy the project if any eating were involved because it is essentially stepping on their toes when you bring food into the picture regardless if money is involved. Normally if a project is not their idea they want no part of it . I think Seiken was one step ahead of the game on that one.

    Anonymous you are very correct in that but what right would they have to step on it? Is it being funded by them? Would they deny BB permission to talk about it on his site if it contained eating footage that didn’t have their name on it. Your post hints at BB’s site being ran by the Shea’s (which everyone knows) and that they are his puppet master(which everyone knows). That would kind of negate him being one step ahead of the game. I am sure to be bashed for those comments.

    And who cares if there was a blip or two of contests in the movie? How does/would that effect the Sheas? He wouldn’t be taking anything from them or IFOCE except for having contracted eaters in the movie. That would probably bring up another point of concern. IF there was eating in the movie would the eaters have to get permission to eat on film. What if they happen to film BB or whoever eating a regular meal? I mean it isn’t REALLY a contest unless there is a format and a winner. So would a staged contest (or portions of a contest(s)) be that much of an insult to them. I think they would be stepping over their contractural bounds on that one.

    It doesn’t matter. It is a great concept for a short film. The title just reeks of possibly having food involved that is all.

    Vac, as you surmized, based on your expectations of getting “bashed”” for your comments, I know my chiming in woun’t surprise you. I’m not bashing you though. I just want to say that I absolutely do not believe BB is a Shea puppet. As a matter of fact, I think he’s about as far away from being their puppet as an eater can get and still be part of the organization.

    Have you read much of his Bits and Pieces? If BB is a puppet of the IFOCE then George and Rich must be into verbal masochism. I may not agree with some of BB’s assertions, but I respect him for his courage in stating them.

    Sorry to get off the subject of the thread. I’m done.

    I will step in and get technical about it considering that some inquiring minds want to know. If i did this as a short project on my own for BB corner I dont think the Shea’s would mind the fact that the guys would do a bit of eating in the skit. Without going into further detail im looking at something a little bit bigger which would require some major outside film production. To be quite honest i would love for either Rich or George or both to be involved in this project or have major roles in the movie. They are natural actors and would blend in just fine . I personally think they are concentrating on other things at the present time. To respond to Mr Vac’s comments, i never denied , nor is it my place to deny anyone their freedom of speech but i am not nor have i ever been a puppet of the Shea’s or anyone else.Contrary to popular belief,they have no connection with my website. It was my idea to start the website four years ago with the intention of being anything but a “wiseass”. I just happened to become one as time went on. I am quite sure that a good portion of my editorial has infuriated them over the years but one of the brothers told me awhile back. “Dont ever worry about what you print because the bad publicity is good publicity for the readership” On that note i was sort of given permission to let loose but i tend to think i might have crossed the line on more than one occasion. Back to the movie, i still have to get the consent from a few other potential cast members or else the entire project might end up in the trashcan.Can you think of better casting than Don Lerman as Paulie ,Crazy Legs and Janus as HBO analyist’s? Arturo Rios as an apollo creed type, Helen Haggerty as Adrian, Subich as Ivan Drumstick, Hardy as the relentless trainer of Rocky and Badlands as Rios trainer/ rapper singing living in america? Awesome is the word! I am against using a real script , because it is asking alot for professional eaters to become professional actors overnight. I will say this, if everyone cooperates and the film turns out the way i envision it to be, you will be quite pleased and thorougly entertained with the final product.
