Is this the shortest competitive eating retirement of all time?

He said he’s retiring, not that he retired. He could have meant he’s retiring in 50 years.

Joe. I sent a email to the IFOCE, stating I no longer would be competing in their contest. And would not sign the contract that they had sent me.
The email was sent in early April. As for why I am still ranked on their page, I can not answer.

Here is one more reason that this site is important. Information gets exchanged. IFOCE does not put much effort into the rankings and re-does them whenever they wish. My guess would be that Russ Keeler will be dropped when they do the next ranking, whenever that is and not a minute before. Don’t they usually do it after the 4th?

Russ, nice job on tots. As for my post, I apologize it was aimed at others (mle), I meant nothing ill towards you. As I see any ranked eater doing anything I’ll point it out, but only here and that’s as far as it goes. If anyone runs with it, that’s up to them. The only thing I want is parity. I really think someone was gunning for me, as for why I’ll never know. Hopefully some day we my sit at the same table.
