I think what happened was Joey got the Automatic bye since he won last year. So even though Flash finished 4th in his qualifier technically he was a top 3 finisher since joey already had a spot.. Still , u have eaters eating 120+ wings who cant qualify over people eating 85 wings. For the Championship they should just advance by highest total amount eaten so you have the best eaters competing.

Same old conspiracy theories and complaints but I guess it takes all kinds. WILD 1 states the case well. How about telling MLE? Sure, we know what many commenters will say. So predictable. It isn’t science, it’s entertainment.

In debris competitions like this one, ribs, et al, there can be a large variation in eatability of the food based on how it was cooked, i.e. falling off the bone or not. Eaters like Miki and Shell thrive on the speed-eating of difficult debris food, whereas Joey does better with capacity challenges. That being said, it is difficult to get good quality control between the different qualifying rounds. It will be interesting to see how this plays out in the finals.

How about just weighing before and after oh wait .that would be to honest and accuratefor MLE unless they are throwing it on the floor its a 100% legit result
